Parent Engagement

"St. Vincent Pallotti Parent Guild strives to enrich the educational experience of all students by fostering parental involvement...serving together we all make a difference."

All parents and guardians of St. Vincent Pallotti students are members of the Parent Guild. There are no additional membership fees and the Parent Guild spends most of the time on events supporting students and parents; very limited time is spent on fundraising.

The Parent Guild Meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month, starting October 2023, at 7:00pm at Pallotti High School.

We encourage all parents to participate!

For more information, contact the Parent Guild by email at parentguild@airllevant.com.

Recognizing that a student's academic and personal achievement can be significantly affected by the involvement of parents in the school, the St. Vincent Pallotti Parent Guild has been established to:

  1. Promote communication between parents and the school
  2. Provide social and spiritual opportunities for parents
  3. Support the Post Prom safe celebration held for students
  4. Coordinate parent volunteer efforts within the school
  5. Host informative events focused on topics of interest to Pallotti parents
The Parent Guild supports and assists with a broad range of activities such as: Back-to-School Night, Open House, information nights, teacher breakfast and lunches, class retreats, fundraisers, phone tree, fall and spring clean-up, uniform exchange, and post-prom.

Annual membership fee to the Parent Guild is included with each family's tuition.

Committees to Serve

  • Post Prom Committee

In order to help keep our students safe on prom night, this committee organizes and plans the Post Prom Party, an all-night safe event that include games, food, all sorts of entertainment and special gifts for the students. Past parties have been held at Dave and Buster's. The committee sponsors several fund-raisers throughout the year, including a student/faculty basketball game; flower sales, bake sales and doughnut sales; raffle for a Prom Basket of useful items and gift certificates; and Tag Days.

  • Hospitality Committee

This committee organizes teacher breakfasts and lunches and helps with refreshments at Parent Guild meetings and special programs. Parent volunteers are needed throughout the school year for food donations and to help at events.

  • Used Uniform Exchange Committee

Donations of gently used school uniforms can be dropped off at the Sister Lucy Lobby. This committee organizes the Used Uniform Sale(s), which are held throughout the year to help parents save money.

  • Textbook Exchange Committee

Sell your students' used textbooks to other Pallotti families to earn money and buy used textbooks directly from other Pallotti families to save money. This committee organizes the textbook exchange at the beginning of the school year.

  • Parent Resource Committee

Parents and caregivers work together to provide educational support, and resources such as educational workshops, fundraising efforts, volunteer programs, and the distribution of educational materials. The committee plays a vital role in fostering a strong partnership between parents and teachers to benefit the school and its students.
